Meditation for Modern Life

Mastering peace might sound like an impossible task in this modern world where life can be fast paced and overwhelming. But it’s not, it’s very simple.

Vedic meditation is a powerful technique designed to release deeply held stress and introduce calm to the body and mind.

Trusted by thousands of people across the world, Vedic Meditation is popular today because …. it works!

Practicing just 20 minutes twice a day is transformative to our mental and physical health.

You will learn to take this meditation practice with you wherever you go, start living a more peaceful and energised life and leave stress behind, for good.

“Almost everything will work again if we unplug it for a few minutes, including you”

About me

Hi, I’m Jo. I used to overthink life and battle with anxiety & depression. By age 35, stress had made it’s way into every cell of my being and my mind was everywhere at once. Between work and family, I was navigating challenges poorly, hurting everyone I loved and lacked a deep connection with myself.

Vedic Meditation changed all that. Stress began to evaporate from my existence like the steam from a kettle. My husband and kids watched in fascination as I emerged from my meditation chair each day with a new light-heartedness towards life that I had never felt before.

Vedic Meditation offers profound benefits and works better than any mood enhancing drug. It’s a simple technique, which anyone can do, and I look forward to showing you how!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We find a comfortable chair and close the eyes. Then by repeating a personalised Mantra inside our mind, the mind will settle into deeper states. The body will follow into deep rest and dissolve stress at a cellular level. It's very easy and enjoyable.

Vedic meditation can be practiced anywhere anytime. This allows you to easily factor it into your life and experience the benefits on a consistent and on-demand basis.

  • A mantra is simply a 'sound' that will be chosen for you by the teacher. You will be taught how to think this mantra properly and discover that it will do all the hard work for you in meditation!

  • You don't need to be a yogi, you don't need loads of time, you don't need to sit cross legged and you don't need to concentrate. These are not necessary for a deep experience.

    Vedic Meditation is NOT:

    • Breathing
    • Chanting
    • Candles
    • Crystals
    • Music
    • Visualisation
    • Counting
    • Apps

Vedic Meditators go deep by simply finding a chair, closing the eyes and thinking a Mantra. With correct instruction, it's really that simple.

  • BECAUSE IT'S VERY GOOD FOR YOU!

Meditation provides your mind and body with a variety of health benefits including: reduced stress and anxiety, better control of emotions, resilience, improved concentration, deeper sleep, more bliss chemistry (serotonin, dopamine, melatonin) and much more.

It also helps you develop the habit of self care. The self-awareness and self-acceptance you gain from spending just a few minutes a day meditating will be life altering.
